Can I ride the horses?
Horses naturally desire a connection with you as their fellow herd member, which often results in a deeply rewarding and mutually beneficial relationship.
We offer unique opportunities for you/your child to connect with our horses as mentors during ground-based activities. This form of connection with horses can be far more effective than a ridden approach.
Riding can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis for long-term clients (subject to height and weight ratios). However, this is only offered once you/your child can demonstrate a genuine connection and a compassionate approach to our horses, which takes time.
Can I change my sessions?
We want your/your child's sessions to be enjoyable and meaningful, so please don’t be afraid to chat with us about what is or isn't working for you, and what you'd prefer to do.
We tailor your sessions to your needs, so for example, you can tell us if you'd like to include more or less time with our dogs or horses, or if you prefer more or less time with art/craft nature in your sessions.
Are there toilets at HitH?
Please use the public toilets located a short distance away in Willunga or Mount Barker.
